Lady Cats’ offensive execution too much for Lady Patriots

The Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats executed their offense to near perfection as they scored the most points so fast this season as they overwhelmed the Allen County-Scottsville Lady Patriots 66-35 last night at the F-S Gym.

The Lady Cats raced out to a 14-0 lead in the 1st Quarter. Their inside/outside game was on point as in the 1st Half: Lanayjah Knight, Katelyn McAlister and Jasmine Savage combined for five 3-pointers. Kloie Smith and Jayden Spears combined to score 15 points in the paint as Franklin-Simpson led 38-18 at halftime.

3-point shooting continued in the 2nd Half for the Lady Cats as McAlister, who made her third of the game, along with Malyea Partinger and Naja Nolan buried them in the 3rd Quarter. Smith scored six points in the half to lead all scorers with a game high of 19 points with 11 points from McAlister as Franklin-Simpson defeated Allen County-Scottsville 66-35.

The Lady Cats will play at the Todd County Central Lady Rebels in an important 13th District game on Friday night. Tip-off time is at 6:00 p.m. with WFKN Radio broadcasting

boys doubleheader starting at 5:50 p.m.
