
”Nobody does Homecoming like Franklin-Simpson High School” is a quote that has resonated for many, many years. This Friday, the school will celebrate 2023 Basketball Homecoming against the Logan County Cougars in a boys/girls’ varsity doubleheader at the F-S Gym on Frank Cardwell Court.
The 2023 Basketball Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned in a special ceremony. Representing the senior class are: Lilli Phillips who will be escorted by Austin Lane and Hadley Turner who will be escorted by Atakis Allen.
Representing the junior class are: Ava Douglas who will be escorted by O.J. Gamble and Abbi Peerson who will be escorted by Wade Humphrey.
Representing the sophomore class are: Maecy Acrey who will be escorted by Colin Anderson and Naja Nolan who will be escorted by Ky’Mari Phillips.
And representing the freshman class are: Kloie Smith who will be escorted by Brady Delk and A’mari Starks who will be escorted by Jayvien Hamilton.
The Basketball Homecoming Pep Rally will take place at around 1:55 p.m. on Thursday with the crowning of the 2023 Basketball Homecoming King and Queen taking place in between the boys/girls varsity doubleheader that is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. Connor Vincent and Aniyah Dunn, the 2022 Basketball Homecoming King and Queen, will crown their successors.
